On the 18th June 2006, The Annual General Meeting of Shandong Association WA was held in Loftus Community Centre. Before the AGM, in order to gathering information for the preparation of the Annual Meeting Report, executive committee members carried out a Member Survey, and tried to make contact with every individual members, these measures resulted positive development on the meeting's discussion.
The meeting agendas are as follows:
1.Registration of new membership
2.Working report from the President
3.Financial report from the Treasurer
4.Discussion for the above items
5.Approval of working report, financial report
The working report include three parts, the first is the works carried out, in which the past works was summarised in five areas:
1.Organisational establishment works.
2.Charity works to help our members and fiends.
3.Activities organised for our members.
4.Participation of activities organised by other Chinese organisations.
At the same time, the problems and challenges facing SAWA are also examined, mainly in the following areas:
1.Lack of major SAWA characterised activities
2.Lack of high level of communication with our members
3.Weak in financial ability
The future working directions are planned:
1.Better communication through major SAWA characterised activities
2.Higher level of communication with our members through Internet homepage and emails
3.Take measure to break the financial bottleneck
